Little Lambs learn about the Community

At our last meeting the Little Lambs were learning about Community Helpers. Shelly created a little town that they each got to try out different careers! If only we could be so lucky. Here are just a few of the many things they got to try!

Toby the fireman. He's ready to rescue someone with his ax.

Josue the construction worker! This was his favorite. He didn't move from here all night!

Sophia the nurse or doctor. She was a natural at this.

Tristin & D'harie the chefs in the kitchen. They were making some tasty treats!

Nathan, the postal worker. They had mail to sort & stamp. You can see Makayla in the background putting on her Veterinarian outfit.

Get Ready for Camping

We made a quick trip out to our campsite so that we would know what to expect for camping trip. It is a lovely area!

Here is an overall look at the area that is all ours for the weekend!

This pavilion is in the center of a paved circular drive. The campsites are on outside of the circular drive.

This is the bathroom/shower building. It is situated on the far left side of the camping area.

There is a sink/hand dryer/electrical outlet in the women's/men's bathroom.

There are four showers & they are all quite spacious. There is a sink & mirror in each shower.

Some other interesting info is that there is an electrical outlet, water spicket, & picnic table at each camp area. There is lighting & electrical outlets at the camping pavilion.

We're going to have a great time! Today is the last day to sign up even if you are just coming for the day.

Adventurer Sabbath

Let me just start out by saying how proud I am of each adventurer that participated this last Sabbath. I have gotten several compliments and I whole heartedly agree - My Adventurers are wonderful! A Promise to be anything God wants them to be!!! Check out the practice ending of the song at the bottom of this post!

Here we are getting prepared! A Mom putting the finishing touches on her son!

Standing in line getting ready for our grand entrance!

The program has begun! It was wonderful from beginning to end!

Our Little Lambs! Wish we could have had the choir microphones so they could have been heard, but they were brave & did their very best!

The Eager Beavers ready to rejoice in the Lord!

Sunbeams showing their banner of love!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a great shot of the Helping Hands, but I love this picture of when the special prayer was said for us!

Thanks again for a job well done, Adventurers! You truly are a wonderful promise!

No Pics - But Important things to remember

HI everyone. My photographer has sort of been out of commission so I haven't had any pictures to post. I do have some important things to keep in mind!

This Sabbath is Adventure Sabbath. We will be practicing Wednesday night so please plan to be there. Each person has important part in our program! Since prayer meeting is on Wednesday nights as well, we can't get into the Sanctuary so, we are planning a practice for 5:30 p.m. Friday evening! PLEASE plan to have your child there. This will be the only time we got over things in the sanctuary & I want each child to be aware of what they need to do!!!

Camping will soon be upon us! I'm getting so excited! Please remember the absolute last time you can sign up is October 22 which is a week from Wednesday! I hope each family can attend. If you are having any reservations about coming please don't hesitate to come & talk with us!

Thanks for letting me borrow your kids each week. They are a real joy!
